How can a foodie who is into wine and cooking lose weight? It isn't easy!

A few years ago I embarked on a mission to lose weight. I joined Weight Watchers and over the years I have lost a significant amount of weight. I have lost over 60 pounds from my all time highest weight.

I recently started the Weight Watchers Simply Filling plan and discovered that there aren't a lot of blogs devoted to the plan. There are a few such as Danica's Daily which I scour daily,
but I crave more recipes that appeal to my personal tastes. This blog will be a way to keep track of my recipes and talk about my passion for all things food and wine!

I have about 40 more pounds to lose and I would love to do that before my sons wedding in September.

For my younger sons wedding I weighed a lot more than I would have liked and I felt embarrassed to be the Fat Mother of the Groom. This time around I would like to feel and look amazing!

So lets get this weight loss party started and talk about food!
